Macheledt Bales LLP, established in 1996, provides a full range of intellectual property law-related services (patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, technology transfer) to a diverse clientele, including technology transfer offices within and associated with universities and colleges, established corporations and emerging businesses, high-tech incubator participants, and a select number of independent inventors, authors, and artists.

Our general partners take an active role in advising clients on the front-end of the product lifecycle in matters concerning strategies for protection, conveyance/transfer of, and protection of patent, trademark (brand naming), copyright, trade secret assets, as well as employee agreements. We work in partnership with client management and staff -- on-site and off -- of technology transfer offices, corporate research & development groups, and legal departments. Once an MB LLP law partner has taken responsibility for a client matter, she will remain accessible to follow-through to directly manage the matter, cooperating with others within MB LLP and out, to tailor legal services to address our client's identified intellectual property needs.
