JENNIFER BALES, formerly with the law firms of Hancock & Knearl and Holland & Hart, was employed as an engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company prior to law school at the University of Colorado. While at Hughes, Jennifer developed systems for digital signal processing, image processing and radar.
She received her undergraduate degree from California State University in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) and a Master's degree from the University of Southern California in Electrical Engineering, emphasis in optics. She received her law degree from University of Colorado.
Jennifer has extensive experience obtaining and enforcing patents in the fields of signal processing and optics, optoelectronics and computing, radar, x-ray optics, heart sound analyzers, music and sound synthesis, non-destructive materials testing, hearing aids, software and computer peripherals, computer sound cards, and various other mechanical and electrical devices.
Jennifer is admitted to practice law in Colorado, and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder Bar Association (Intellectual Property Law Committee).
